Gotta love being a woman...
NINE WORDS WOMEN USE...
(1) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right
and you need to shut up.
(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five
minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes
to watch the game before helping around the house.
(3) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and
you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in
fine.
(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word. It's also a non-verbal statement
often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot
and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you
about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)
(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can
make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before
deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
(7) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say
you're welcome. (This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot.' That is PURE
sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome'.
That will bring on a 'whatever').
(8) Whatever : Is a woman's way of saying....Go to H@!!...
(9) Don't worry about it, I got it : Another dangerous statement, meaning
this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is
now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?'
For the woman's response refer to # 3.

The next chapter...
Hello again! Yes...I know it has been too long since I last posted, but all I can say is that life takes you in and time slips away. We have been busy...busy...BUSY! My kids have discovered a new love...the computer...which totally cuts into my blogging time. So maybe Santa will bring me a computer of my very own...a girl can dream!
The gang has been doing great! I know by now you all know that Autumn has let the cat out of the bag. I seriously was not trying to blow you all off by not answering the millions of questions, but I felt that this was something that was best kept between us and the Winks until they were ready. We are thrilled beyond words that Yuri will be a part of our family...I am so in love with that little guy!

All the kiddos are doing great in school...Yuri was doing so well so the teacher suggested that he start going 5 days a week. He loves it. So now...it's just me and Michael at home during the day.
Many of you may recall last year at this time when doctor after doctor after doctor all said there was nothing they could do for Timofey's hip. I took your advice and didn't stop searching until I found someone who wanted to help him...and guess what...the orthopedics at Vandy are eager to help. Apparently, no ortho in the United States has ever seen anything like this...so the doctors at Vandy are eager to pioneer a procedure that they think can help and have Tima up and walking in no time. We head to Nashville December 20th...can't wait!
That's about all that's going on in our world. Maybe now that life is back to normal...I won't fall off the face of the earth again! One more thing...Thank you Aunt Robyn for my birthday gifts...love Yuri!

Happy 4th Birthday Yuri...
You are a chosen child
You are ours, but not by birth
But just the same, we feel
You are the greatest child on earth
You are a chosen child
Sent down from God above
Chosen to fill our home
With laughter and with love
You are a chosen child
You have given us so much pleasure
Chosen above the rest
A precious, priceless treasure
You are ours, but not by birth
But just the same, we feel
You are the greatest child on earth
You are a chosen child
Sent down from God above
Chosen to fill our home
With laughter and with love
You are a chosen child
You have given us so much pleasure
Chosen above the rest
A precious, priceless treasure

Happy 4th Birthday Timofey...
For you our precious son
We send a birthday prayer
That you may know God’s love
With the unfolding of each year
And that you’ll come to know
God’s purpose and His plan
As you walk with God through life
Together hand in hand.
Love and laughter
Ribbons and bows
Birthday cake to eat
Fun and games
And party food
Sure is a birthday treat
Remember though
Who loves you most
And is watching over you
Our Father above
Filled with love
Is celebrating too.
